Our photographic style is authentic, true and pure. The most important part of our imagery is letting your natural beauty shine through in every photograph! We use photographic craft and authentic lighting to create images for you that are truly beautiful because they are real. All of the images presented in our portfolio are shot the way you see them straight from our cameras. While we are happy to retouch and finish images in software, we do not use software as a tool for creating images themselves. Amazing images are created in the camera, and it is this authentic style that our clients love so much and that we are best known for. We strive to create imagery that is timeless and will look fabulous (and not dated) for years to come. In addition, Kevin our lead photographer personally works with all of our couples assuring every client the same level of dedication and artistry!

  • Who are Wavecrest Studio Clients?

I feel very privileged to have the opportunity to work with such wonderful people! Clients that select our studio are people that value photography very much, and also value being treated personally with care and respect. Our clients see the value in our complete experience that includes fabulous imagery, amazing products, and a studio that takes great pride in our work. Our entire experience is what our clients love most!

  • How much should I expect to invest in photography?

Your wedding images will be the most lasting record of your wedding day, and will also document the start of your new family! More than any other aspect of the day your photographs will remain with you the longest. This is one part of your day that is definitely worthy of the investment that you make. We understand that clients have a wide variety of needs and budgets, and we offer a variety of wedding collections and à la carte options to best suit the needs of each client. We are happy to offer you a customized collection that best reflects your taste, style, and needs. Our single photographer wedding collections will begin at $2300, and our two photographer collections will begin at $3000. You will find all of our offerings to be an outstanding value for your investment as well!

  • Where are you from and where do you travel?

We are based on Long Island, NY and service all of Long Island, New York City, New Jersey and portions of Upstate NY as well. Travel fees will apply depending upon location.

  • Can we view your work and meet in person?

Absolutely! All of our clients meet with Kevin our lead photographer directly. In studio consults are the best way for us to get acquainted, and for you to experience all of our beautiful products firsthand. Just click on our contact form to schedule a time to get together! For distance clients a phone or skype consult is most welcome!

  • How long will it take to receive our products?

As our studio only photographs one wedding per day, we put great emphasis on timely delivery of products. Your online gallery from your wedding day is posted four weeks after your wedding. Digital files are typically delivered two weeks after this. All of our album designs are produced in-house making the whole process smooth and effortless. Once approved most albums are ready for delivery within 12 weeks. All of our hand finished print and wall art products are typically ready for delivery within two weeks.

  • Do you edit all of our digital files?

All of your wedding day images are edited individually in studio. We take great care to make sure that each is properly color corrected and balanced and presenting beautifully! We do not use any form of automated process.

  • How may photographs will we receive?

We do not limit what we photograph on your day, and our goal is always to provide greatest variety possible. The number of images will vary based on single or two photographer coverage and also the length and complexity of your day. Most two photographer weddings typically provide a minimum of 700 images, and often yield more!

  • Do you offer an online gallery for our images?

Our studio owns and hosts an advanced online gallery system that is fabulous! It is very easy to navigate, and wonderful to view. Your gallery will be password protected, and all of your friends and family are most welcome to view your images here. All of the products that we offer are available here – everything from photographic prints to wall canvases to metallic prints and many other unique offerings! You can also use the gallery system to make your album image selections and send them over to us to begin your album design, making the process truly seamless.

  • Do you offer engagement photography?

We love shooting engagement sessions! Wavecrest clients have the advantage of working with Kevin our lead photographer for their engagement session. This gives us a chance to get to know each other, and also to gives you the chance to feel comfortable in front of the camera. One of Kevin’s major strengths as a photographer is helping everyone look their best, and during your engagement shoot he will be able to give you plenty of easy tips that will help you both look and feel great! This also translates directly to your wedding day photography, and you will feel comfortable being photographed from the first minute of your day! We have a fairly flexible scheduling for engagement sessions, so it is usually easy to find both a time and location that work well for you.

  • Are you fully insured?

Yes we are absolutely fully insured! We can also offer your venue a certificate of insurance if they request it.

  • Are you experienced?

We have been photographing weddings for 14 years and have covered hundreds of weddings. We have received numerous awards, including multiple Best of Weddings and the Hall of Fame award from The Knot! Feel free to stop by our kind words tab above to get a feel for how satisfied our clients have all been!

  • Can you hold a date for us?

Unfortunately no,we will not be able to hold any date without a retainer and signed contract. Remember that once you book us for your wedding, we are taking your date off of our calendar and saying no to any other inquiries for your date.

  • When should we book you for our wedding?

As soon as possible! As we only photograph one wedding per day our calendar fills quickly each year. Get in touch as soon as you have your date and venue confirmed!
