Welcome To Wavecrest Studio

Hi Everyone, and welcome to the Wavecrest blog! Our studio is based on Long Island, New York. We provide fresh, fun photography for weddings, family and individual portraits. We'd love to share our passion for photography with you here and offer a brief glimpse of what we see through the lens! This blog will follow studio and personal events, and feature images from events that we shoot. The links above can lead you to images by category, or you can simply scroll and browse!

A little about our studio.......Kevin is our lead photographer and loves his work! He has been shooting professionally for the last 10 years, and is always finding new directions to take his photography. Clients love working with us because our team is always relaxed, fun, confident, and totally easy to work with! Being photographed should be a pleasure - and we always make sure that it is. We offer very personal and individual attention, and pride ourselves on a fantastic total client experience!

Amy and Dan’s Wedding

It was a gorgeous November Saturday, and we had the pleasure of sharing the day with Amy and Dan for their fabulous wedding! The day was spent surrounded by great family and friends, and could not have been more perfect! The ceremony was held at St. John’s Church, and the reception at Eastwind Caterers. Congratulations to you both, and thank you again for having us along!

Sydney and Brian’s Wedding

November 18, 2008 – 5:11 pm

Sydney and Brian had a day full of radiant energy - they are absolutely crazy about each other and it showed all through the day! The weather was overcast most of the day, but it didn’t dampen anybody’s spirits in the least! It turned put to be a wonderful night for pictures, and we made some amazing images at the Brooklyn Promenade beneath the bridge! Congratulations to you both, and thank you for sharing your day with us!

Pamela and David’s Wedding

Pam and David could not have planned a better day! It was a gorgeous November Sunday, and photographing their wedding was an absolute pleasure! All of their friends and families were wonderful, and the warmth they all had for one another was priceless. Here are a few samples from the day. Christina and Rich’s Wedding

Christina and Rich had one of the nicest November days we can remember! The weather was amazing, and their whole day was so much fun. They planned a very elegant affair, and held their reception at Flowerfield. There were so many great images to choose from, and here is just a small sample. A slideshow will follow soon. Julie and Jason’s Engagement

After rescheduling a few times for weather, I was finally able to meet with Julie and Jason for their e-session. They chose their locations, and both were perfect! We wound up with beautiful fall weather, and I just love shooting in this season! The colors are just amazing, and the feel of the cool air is great too. Janine and Thomas’ Wedding

We had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of Janine and Thomas, and it was an absolutely perfect day! Janine and Thomas are crazy about each other, the weather was amazing, their families and guests were totally fun, and it all just made for an unforgettable event! We had a nice layover between the ceremony and the reception, and we went to the Arboretum for pictures. It was amazing to have such a great couple, location, and time to photograph! We got so many beautiful images, it was almost impossible to narrow them down to just a few……….so we’re putting more here :) A slideshow from the day will follow shortly as well. Happy viewing!

Amy and Daniel’s Engagement

Amy and Daniel were in town for a short time, and luckily we had a chance to shoot their session. It was another beautiful August day, and we got so many great images! Christina and Rich’s Engagement

Christina, Rich, and I were finally able to connect for their engagement session after having to re-schedule for weather. We were treated to an absolutely beautiful evening! They requested a few images in their nicely landscaped backyard, and then we went on to the park and beach for a really great session! They looked great through the whole shoot, and were just so much fun to be with! Kudos to you both for the tree shots - they are awesome! Here are a few favorites, and a highlights show follows too!

Katie and Chris’ Wedding

What an AMAZING day!! Katie and Chris were given a gorgeous day - the weather was perfect! From getting ready, to the church, to the beach, and then on to the reception, every part of the affair was awesome! I want to personally thank Katie, Chris, the bridal party, and their families for making the day a joy for us to photograph. We were honored to be a part of your wedding!

Vickie and Jason’s E-Session

We’ve been behind a bit on blogging again……..so for those of you waiting, please be patient!! Outdoor sessions are simply the best, and we are so fortunate to have such beautiful places to shoot here on Long Island! Vickie and Jason’s e-session was just amazing, and they really showcased just how great location portrait sessions can be! I want to thank them for being so open minded and a pleasure to work with.
